Add New Products to Your Catalog.

This is the section that you can add your products to your shopping cart data base.

Product Itemization: This is were you select which category you want to put your item in also it allows you to make new categories. You can also add a product manufactuer this one is optional. You also need to add a product number and product name. The number is so that the data base can keep track of your products. The name is what the customer will click on to view the product.

Picture File: This is were you can specify which picture you want to use for the product that you are selling. It also gives you the ability to upload images here as well (jpg and gif only).

Description: In this section you can do one of two things you can make a custom html page to talk about the product at question or you can enter a brief description about the product in the text box.

Pricing: In this section you need to fill out both the retail and suggested retail prices, also you need to type how much as follows $dollar amount then the cent amount. example $11.00, $0.95 , $123.45.

Shipping: This section allows you te set how much you are going to charge to domsetic shipping and to international shipping, as well as stating how much the product weights.

Options: The Options field gives you the opportunity to select product options, such as color, size, etc. If you have product options, you must enter them with a special syntax. Each option selection consists of the following items:
An option label, such as color or size, followed by a colon. A list of parameters separated by commas, e.g. red, green, blue or small, medium, large.Note that a parameter may be followed by a dollar amount which will be added to the base price of the product if selected. The dollar sign, $, must be present; see example below.
A semicolon. The semicolon is only necessary if there is another option following the current one.
Example options for a computer product: Color:black, white, blue;Drive:CD Drive $200;Memory:16 Meg,32 Meg $100 Note that spaces are not necessary to separate parameters. If only a single parameter is shown for a given option, then it will appear as a checkbox instead of a pull-down list.

NOTE: If you are describing services rather than products, or are presenting information, then you may treat the Product Category and Product Manufacturer as information sub-headings, leaving manufacturer blank if desired by entering a space in the field. Be sure to leave the retail and member price fields blank, if this is a service or information entry rather than a product entry.
