Your Justwebit control panel and shopping cart will go away within 24 hours
due to the server being moved.

When Justwebit INC went out of business 2 years ago,  we agreed to continue
running the web hosting server to maintain continuity for their web hosting
clients.

Although at first the server covered it's own costs, it quickly became
unprofitable, costing us each month to keep it going.

When we found that the cost of the server was higher than the money coming
in, we examined several other options. we attempted to re-program the
website creator and shopping cart to work on other servers, but we were not
successful.

And then today, the service provider that hosts the dedicated server that
justwebit.com and your justwebit account is on, told us that we have to move
to a different server within 24 hours or they would shut it off. This is due
to the server being compromised and the operating system being too old to
update with the needed security patches. In their words:

"Unfortunately, your server has been found to be compromised. Please see the
evidence below. As a compromised server constitutes a liability to the
Rackspace network and to other Rackspace customers, we cannot allow your
server to remain online in its current state. Please review the following
and indicate which option you prefer. You must agree to one of options below
and the work must begin within 24 hours. Please understand that due to the
sensitive nature of this issue, we must schedule this work for the next 24
hours or we will be forced to suspend your server until this issue is
resolved."

All the options below included re-installing the operating system on a
different hard drive and then moving all users to it. Since this would also
mean re-programming the control panel software, which we were not successful
in doing - we have no choice but to move you to a different server.

What we did find are hosting packages based on Linux and cpanel. This is an
industry standard hosting combination that is constantly being updated and
that is supported by many different hosting companies.

For a shopping cart, they offer osCommerce, with no limits on number of
products.

Their packages include lots of features that were missing from the justwebit
control panel and shopping cart, including FTP, email, custom CGI's, Forums,
and more.

We have set it up so that if you sign up for a package with crecon.com they
will help you restore your justwebit content to your new hosting account
with them.

Your website will remain up at it's current justwebit URL - but it will be
on a different server, and your control panel, email, ftp and shopping cart
will not work. If you have a domain name pointing to it, your domain will
stop working until you have signed up for a new control panel hosting
account with crecon.com

We are sorry about the major inconvenience and hardship that this causes,
but we have no other choice.
